IMPORTANT NEWS!

I'm now working on a full game based on this early jam prototype:

  • It should be released on Itch & Steam (no official date yet).
  • The new title will be rogue-fu with a strong focus on One Versus Many combat style.
  • Stay tuned by following me on Twitter: https://twitter.com/deepnightfr

I jitsu'd! Ten times in fact!

(+2)

I beat it!

I found something. Speedrunners, you might wanna listen to this. On the level before the final level, if you get somebody to kill you, your corpse can clip through the door and get you to the final level.

Edit: It's the final level before the "Thanks for playing" one, and you can just walk through the right door. You don't even need to be killed and flung.

um... press / during gameplay

p.s great game!

(+3)

Oh right :) You can still have access to my dev console, but all sensitive commands are blocked/unavailable in public builds. Thanks for spotting this ;)

(1 edit) (+2)

I'm really enjoyed this game
(+3)

this is a fun game but getting very hard very quick! :)

Adamlar 2 saatte anca ölüyo

This game has such a fun idea! I love it!

(+4)

Very good game, but where is my invincibility frames??!?!?!?!? :(

(+2)

Wow

(+3)

The idea is definitely better than my gameplay.

(+1)(-1)

Nice

(+2)

I pressed Restart but I was holding Shift and it put me back to the very beginning :(

Overall a really fun idea!

(+2)

Interesting

This game is pretty great. The sprite work is pretty and the combat is pretty fun. Would have liked to be able to hit above or below but the combat still feels good. In the second last level, is it meant to be able to go past it without defeating all the enemies. Very cool overall

(+1)

so good! I wish i could attack up and down tho

(+2)

Grand Game

(+2)

This game is so epic! Its really tough but for how short the game is, it is understandable. can't believe this game is made in 48 Hours. Incredible work.

Been a long time since i saw a game with that much juice. The character's high kick made me feel like Steven Seagal / Jean-Claude Van Damme in a early 90's actionner and damn was it good! Congratz to you Sébastien! Maybe it's precisely because you had to produce that game in such a short time that the whole experience feel rush yet complete. Really awesome!

(+1)

Wow great game – really fun and clean visuals too!

(+1)

I love how polished the game is, but this time freeze stuff is really annoying after couples times you use, because I feel like the game controlls was taken of me. Maybe a quicker animation or just allow the player to keep playing while using this "death time mechanic" can fix this.

(1 edit) (+1)

Fantastic game! Gave good sense of satisfaction for beating down enemies, some  controller throwing nostalgia upon dying, but enough incentive to get back up and keep pounding!

(+1)

VERY FUN TOO BAD IM DEAD

(+1)

Impressive short game. Deserve more content. Great work!

(+2)

Taken aback by how much game feel this had, lots of very polished feeling weighty movement and animations. Spritework is also pretty gorgeous, really really impressive all around. Incredibly mild complaint is the sounds are a bit uneven in volume, some beeps were just really loud, but it wasn't that bad really.

Concept is incredibly sick and I would love to see it taken even further.

(+2)

Really polished for a 48H game, its has a really nice flow that keeps you moving trying to grab skull and avoid enemy's.

I Look forward to seeing the more advanced version you are working on, and expanded version of this sounds incredible.

(+2)

Any chance for a downloadable build ? Damn pog game btw

(+1)

Hi! There is one on my website: https://deepnight.net/games/tenjutsu/

However, please note that I’m currently working on a more advanced version of the game, so might want to wait before downloading it.

(+1)

Hey man! I loved Red Handed!

(+3)

There is a bug in the last but one level - you can finish by simply walking thru door without killing enemies.

(1 edit) (+1)

Oh right :( I’ll fix on this version, but it’s too late for the 48h build! Thanks for reporting it.

(+1)

Another great little game! Thanks :)

(+1)

so polished! well done ! :)

(+1)

very cool game  !

(+1)

You're really impressive at GFXs and coding :)

(+1)

Really cool and original concept. Controls work flawlessly as well. The double chainsaw level is just too hard for me. But really good game

(+1)

super cool

(1 edit) (+1)

Cute, polished, original!

(+1)

Loved this and I laughed so hard at the chainsaw guy's movement. Once you get into the motions of grabbing skulls and waiting for the killing blow its really smooth and fun. Well done man.

(+1)

Super nice! Original and challenging game logic!

(+1)

Aaa insanely cool game, so so well done

(+3)
