Wow, this is beautiful! I love it; and the idea of auto attacks + realistic power limitations is genius. I hope you can turn this into a finished game one day; keep going!

Holy cow, I am playing through this and it's amazing!!!

I remember playing you Firefighter game jam version back on feedback friday, maybe? It was cool, didn't know you were the lead dev for dead cells!

Anyways, how do you make pixel art so fast? While still having time to make the entire game. The graphics look amazing

Thank you :) The firefighting game, Nuclear Blaze, received an extended version (itchIO and steam)!

I saw it on Steam! My question about pixel art wasn't rethorical though, do you have any tips for making pixel art so fast? You make all the art from scratch every time or do you use some kind of pixel art compendium you have and combine parts of it and stuff?

Oh sorry! It’s mostly from scratch every time (as Ludum Dare 48h rules are quite strict).

I do use lots of particles, procedural code and visual filters to create variety from a limited number of pixelart assets.

Kind of like Faster Than Light done Atari shooter style? I like it.

Good game.

It's great to see that you re-upload your old jam games now to itch.io! <3 "Zero Volt X" was an amazing little shoot'em up that I highly enjoyed, aesthetics- and gameplay-wise. :) Especially the good ol' "LOL" bomb was deadly and cute at the same time. :D Happily I wrote a recommendation article for your jam entry back in the 'old days' (*cough* August 2017 *cough*) and also uploaded a little gameplay video of it. <3 Thanks for your little master pieces, Sébastien! :) And congratulations for the 6th place!

Best wishes,
Sebastian
